Chanukah 2007

Please join us for our annual Chanukah party on December 2nd.  The party will take place in the Community Room of the Westminster City Park Recreation Center at 104th and Sheridan.  Doors will open at 12:00pm, and we will kick off the party at approximately 12:30pm.

Please bring your Menorah and join us in our candle-lighting service.  After the service, we will feast on fresh homemade latkes and pot-luck side dishes and desserts.  After lunch, the children from our Jewish Cultural School will be presenting a "wax museum".  Each of the kids will be in costume as their favorite modern Macabee, and will be "frozen" until each person "presses their button", at which time then will come to life and tell you something about who they are representing. 

The party is free and all members of the community are welcome to attend.  Please bring one or more canned goods that will be donated to a local food bank.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Elaine Bloch at 303-321-3276 to get your pot-luck assignment.
