March 10th Havdalah service and program
Please join us
for a Havdalah service and program on March 10th at 400p at DU's Hillel
facility at 2390 S. Race St. (see
http://du.hillelcolorado.org/about/contact.php for directions and
map). The Havdalah service will be held in the chapel (smaller room
upstairs), followed by listening to a CD of Rabbi Adam Chalom of the Kol
Hadash congregation presenting the first talk of his “Judaism Off the Beaten
Path” series that he first gave during the 2006 High Holidays. The title is
“Alexandria: Integration and Integrity.” If there is interest and time, we
could also listen to the second topic, which is “Baghdad: Jews and Arabs.” A
link to Adam’s biography is at
http://kolhadash.com/aboutus/rabbi.html.
Afterwards, there
will be a pot luck dinner in the lobby downstairs. To comply with Hillel's
Kosher policy, please bring only cold, dairy foods. Please contact Elaine
Bloch at 303-321-3276 to RSVP and to make sure you are bringing a proper
selection of food if you have any questions.
