Simchat Torah celebration

On Sunday, October 7th, we will be having our celebration of the holiday of Simchat Torah, the last of the fall Jewish holidays, which will take place from 1200-100p in the Community Room at the Westminster Rec center. 

The students from our Jewish Cultural School will be performing a play, which is an adaptation of the famous story Maybe Even Higher by Issac Peretz, who was a very popular writer and poet who lived in eastern Europe in the late 1800s.  Lunch will also be available during this time, and will be a chicken/vegetable submarine sandwich and ice cream dessert; the cost for lunch is $5/adult and $3/children
