CHANUKAH CELEBRATION 2004Date December 12, 2004, 10:00am - 2:30pm Location 10:00-11:00a Mark Karasik's home (for Children's activities) 886 S. Glencoe, 303-388-1725
11:30a - 2:30p Aspen Village at Lowry - 150 Quebec Court, Denver Take Quebec to 1st Avenue. Turn east on 1st, and turn left into the building on the north side of the street. Parking is available in front of and behind the building.
WHAT TO BRINGY A menorah - candles will be provided.Y A $5 gift, wrapped and anonymous, from EACH adult or child who wants to participate in the Gift Exchange. Please mark the package “Adult” or with a general age range for children. Y A donation of canned or nonperishable food for the Kosher Food Pantry. Y Pot Luck Feast Contribution (this dish should feed six people per member of your party). For last names ending in A-F, please bring an appetizer or side dish. For last names ending in G-N, please bring a desert. For last names ending in O-W, please bring a fruit or green salad.
PROGRAM:Beginning at 10a (at Mark Karasik's)Y Arts & crafts for the kids - ALL kids and parents are welcome Beginning at 1130a (at Aspen Village)Y Chanukah skit by Beth Ami-CCHJ Sunday School children. Y Chanukah Service and Singing Y Feast - Luscious latkes with sour cream and/or applesauce and coffee and tea will be provided by Beth Ami-CCHJ.
COST Members: Adult - $6, Children 12 and under - $4, Children 6 and under – FREE
Non-members: Adult -
$8, Children 12 and under - $5, Children 6 and under - $2
