February 18, 2005 Shabbat with Rabbi Field Rabbi Brian Field will be the guest speaker at the February 18, 2005, Shabbat service sponsored by Beth Ami-Colorado Congregation for Humanistic Judaism. The service will be open to the public and will be held at 7:00 at Aspen Village, 150 Quebec St., Denver. Rabbi Field is Rabbinic Director of Kol Halev, A Center for Jewish Continuity. Kol Halev serves the not presently affiliated, pre- and post-intermarried families, and anyone seeking to explore or reconnect to Judaism along the Front Range in Colorado. Rabbi Field enjoys helping people find their own paths to Judaism. He celebrates diversity among the Jewish people and believes that Judaism stays lively through change and creative adaptation. He grew up in a humanistic Jewish home and was ordained by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 1994. |
