Sunday, 1/28/07 It’s the Trees’ New Year Celebration! BAJCS (Beth Ami Jewish Cultural School) will host a Tu B’Shevat Seder at 12:00 pm in the Community Room of Westminster City Park Recreation Center
Future Madrickot, Sheila Malcolm and Michele Davis, will lead our Tu B’Shevat Seder. Our students will participate in readings and musical accompaniment. The students will also perform a short readers’ theater presentation. A delicious Pot Luck Tu B’Shevat luncheon will follow. Feast on salads, dips, cold finger foods, and desserts made with foods that grow in Israel on trees, bushes and on the ground. We encourage the use of dates, figs, raisins, almonds, carob, barley and wheat, which are traditionally associated with Tu B’Shevat.
The event is open to all Beth Ami members and friends Reservations and Pot Luck choice: Gerrie Karasik- 303-422-3110 |
